Enamel Badges
Standard Enamel Badges are generally known as soft enamel badges. Other suppliers may refer to them as Promotional Enamel Badges or Metal Pin Badges or Budget Enamel Badges. The soft enamel badge is popular because it has the distinctive look of the traditional enamel badge having recessed areas in the design with raised metal detail. Enamel badges can be domed with epoxy resin to give it a specially gloss coverage and can enhance a detailed design.
Hard Enamel Badges have enamel which sits flush with the surface of the metal.
Enamel badges are manufactured by stamping metal and then filling with special colours to match your design. The metal is then finished in a variety of ways, the most common being gold or silver nickel or brass. Other plating options are antique, bright polished or dull etching finishes to give the badge is distinguishing touch.
There are also many attachments available for an enamel badge such as a safety pin brooch, butterfly clutch, stick pin and cap, cuff link, magnetic back, tie bar, tie tack or a key ring.

Designing your enamel badge
If you already have an existing design, you can send it in for copying or alternatively upload a photo or artwork, that’s easy.
If you are starting from the ground up you will need to design a badge which is fit for purpose. Our standard enamel badges are approx. 1.5mm thick and start from 15mm and go to 40mm length or width. It is possible to go wider up to 60mm depending on the type of design. Anything is possible so don’t worry about any perceived constraints, we will always help and advise. There are a wide choice of attachments and finished badges can be supplied in presentation boxes.
